Message	any kind of 'rust' wouldn't be an issue. i have had 0 issues on my z with things drilled through the floor. same with the miatAr. and neither one of them were garaged (the z was for maybe 80% of the last year or so i had it). both were kept outside, uncovered, on gravel driveways (doesn't that speed up rust and other buildup as well?) for most of their lives. the z was driven in actual snow one year, but usually just when the roads were clear (ie, heavily salted). both in rain, yada yada. i'd be more concerned with rocks flying up or hitting a critter or something with it's placement there than rust.
